1. Who We Are

Range Times is an independent Canadian digital news platform operated by Range Empire. We cover the stories that matter to Canadians politics, immigration, housing, business, health, environment, culture, and the world beyond our borders.

We are not affiliated with any government body, political party, or regulatory authority. Our journalism is independent. Full stop.

3. Our Editorial Standards

We take accuracy seriously. Here’s what you can expect from us and what we expect from ourselves:

Accuracy and Fairness
We work hard to ensure every story we publish is accurate, fair, and balanced at the time of publication. News moves fast. If something changes after we publish, we do our best to update it promptly.

Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we own it. If you spot an error, email us at editorial@rangetimes.ca. We review every correction request and publish corrections transparently not buried, not hidden.

Opinion vs. News
Anything labelled “Opinion,” “Editorial,” or “Commentary” reflects the author’s personal views not the official position of Range Times. We believe in publishing a range of perspectives.

Not Professional Advice
Our journalism informs it does not advise. Nothing on this Site is legal, medical, financial, immigration, or any other kind of professional advice. For decisions that affect your life, please consult a qualified professional.

4. AI Content Disclosure

Range Times may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with research, summarization, translation, or content drafting. However, all published content is reviewed, edited, and approved by a human member of our editorial team before it goes live.

We do not publish fully AI-generated articles without human editorial oversight. We believe you deserve to know that.
